Dr Neha Verma, PhD · Intelehealth · New York · June 2023
The 2023 edition, themed “Bettering lives,” spotlighted young leaders whose ventures support under-represented communities through more accessible and effective healthcare solutions. Among 280 registrations from 33 countries, Verma was selected as a finalist and invited to the award ceremony in New York on June 14–15, 2023.
Dr Bea Bakshi of C the Signs (United Kingdom) received the top honor. Verma and two other finalists—Dr Tatiana Fofanova of Koda Health and Prabhdeep Singh of Red Health—were recognized as runners-up, each receiving a €10,000 grant and continued membership in the RED CLUB community.
Intelehealth is a nonprofit telemedicine platform that connects community health workers with remote physicians to deliver primary care in underserved settings. Verma’s work through Intelehealth aligns with the lab’s mission to advance digital health innovation and equitable access to care globally.
The Young Leader Award is led by the North America chapter of RED CLUB x Cartier, a global membership community of multicultural entrepreneurs, with academic partners Georgetown University and Howard University School of Business.
