Our Trainees

The Adler Archer Lab at Johns Hopkins embraces our tripartite mission of education, research, and translation. We are especially excited to support students and early-career professionals interested in applied innovation at the intersection of technology, public service, and community impact.

Trainees and fellows work alongside faculty, staff, and external partners on real-world projects that translate academic insight into practical action. Recent projects have included developing the Baltimore Health Dashboard, coordinating Government Service Corps partnerships with Baltimore city agencies, and conducting research on SDOH interventions. These experiences emphasize systems thinking, ethical and responsible innovation, and collaboration across disciplines and sectors.

Lab members come from diverse academic backgrounds, including engineering, medicine, public health, data science, policy, and the social sciences. Appointments are educational in nature and structured to complement academic programs and career development goals.

The ARCHER Lab is committed to mentorship, responsible practice, and creating pathways for trainees to contribute meaningfully to work that serves the public good.
