Adler Archer, JD, was among ten individuals and one group recognized at the 2018 Diversity Recognition Awards Ceremony hosted by the Johns Hopkins Diversity Leadership Council, as reported by the Johns Hopkins Hub. The ceremony was held on the university's Homewood campus in May 2018.

The annual ceremony celebrates faculty, staff, and students who advance and celebrate diversity and inclusion at Johns Hopkins. That year, cell biologist Douglas Robinson received the Provost's Prize for Faculty Excellence in Diversity, a $50,000 award recognizing scholarly and creative contributions related to diversity. Phyllis Sharps, associate dean for community programs and initiatives at the School of Nursing, was named a finalist.

The Diversity Leadership Council recognized Adler Archer alongside Ifunanya Agbim, Ebuka Arinze, Sylvie DeLaHunt, Paul Giles, Erica Nicole Johnson, Tina Kumra, Dora Malech, Rachel Moseley, Madelynn Wellons, and the Out for Business Affinity Group at Carey Business School. Adler was listed representing the School of Medicine and Carey Business School.

Susan Courtney, vice provost for faculty affairs, noted that “inclusion of diverse perspectives and experiences is essential to building excellence at Hopkins.” See also DLC Appointment (2023).
