Nexus Harbor Summit Series

Policy for Open Sustainability

May 2-3, 2024 | Presented in partnership with LF Energy

May 2-3, 2024 Johns Hopkins HBC | Washington, DC

A two-day summit on open innovation, equity, and policy for sustainable systems change.

As the impacts of climate change intensify, accelerating the decarbonization of energy and transportation systems is more urgent than ever. These sectors are among the largest sources of greenhouse gas emissions, and transforming them requires a collaborative approach that engages all stakeholders to design and implement solutions that are fair, inclusive, and scalable.

The Nexus Harbor Summit Series brings together innovators, policymakers, and community leaders to create practical solutions to social determinants of health. Each summit focuses on challenges at the intersection of technology, public service, and sustainability, turning bold ideas into actionable strategies that integrate people, place, and technology in service of the public good.

On May 2-3, 2024, we brought together lawmakers, policymakers, utility leaders, automakers, technology vendors, researchers, and community representatives to explore the challenges and opportunities of an open, collaborative model for advancing the energy transition.
